Frequently asked questions
- How do I get a table out of a PDF and into Excel?
- Upload the PDF and click Convert. Table rows and columns are detected from the page layout and written into an .xlsx file, one sheet per page.
- Will formulas be recreated?
- No — PDFs only store the displayed values, so the spreadsheet contains those values. You can add formulas once the data is in Excel.
- What happens with multiple tables in one PDF?
- Each page's content goes to its own worksheet, so tables on different pages stay cleanly separated.
- Does it work on scanned tables?
- Run scanned documents through the OCR PDF tool first so the numbers become real text, then convert to Excel.
- Is my data stored after conversion?
- No. Extraction happens in memory and everything is purged immediately after your download.
